Much happens in the world, and our attention does get pulled in many directions. I like the idea of "recollecting" our energy and focusing on a 5-minute pause. Great way to detach and clear our minds and emotions!

I also see benefit in sharing uplifting messages that serve as a dose of happiness and hope intermingled in with the regular flow of news, opinions, etc. Happiness is contagious - scatter the seed!

Thanks so much for sharing!
~ Shawnna Let Earth Risehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12797985647357886793noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4741993156111274686.post-45389683291804622542017-09-25T10:14:15.327-07:002017-09-25T10:14:15.327-07:00You know that saying, "Where attention goes, ...You know that saying, "Where attention goes, energy flows." I find this so true when I am giving attention to the various social media sites. Whatever we put in front of our eyes generally gets a dose of our energy. After a while, it can lead to feeling "scattered." So taking a pause as you suggest is so helpful. Just bringing our energy back into ourselves from all the places we have sent it out. It's very centering to do that. Five minutes does wonders!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17360883088101570100noreply@blogger.com
